Training 6.30-8.30 every Friday night.

Stockport's Under 18 side plays in the High Peak Cricket League, in 20 over matches on Tuesday nights.  Stockport are reigning champions of this league, which offers players the opportunity to develop their skills in competitive matches outside of senior cricket, and offers a stepping stone between junior and senior cricket.  The majority of the U18 players also play regular senior cricket.  The under 17s knockout cup, run by the Cheshire County League, includes many of the players who play under 18s.

Training is geared very much to improving the players performance in senior cricket, and comprises of net practice, fielding and specific skill practices designed to improve performance.  New players are always welcome although some experience is helpful.  Suitable clothing and footwear are needed for training and spikes are ideal for fielding practices requiring running and turning at high speed.  Club kit is available if required, although players playing regular cricket would normally have their own for reasons of hygiene and comfort.
